Hyundai’s 2016 Tucson Reveal in NY Shows Off Major Upgrades

Hyundai finally released their all-new Tuscon crossover model at the New York International Auto Show earlier this month, to an impressed audience of fans and experts.

The new vehicle hosts huge cosmetic upgrades as well as some seriously impressive specs, possibly even leading the affordable crossover segment in terms of available technology.

The 2016 Tucson has a two-liter direct injection engine that gets 164 horsepower in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission. There’s also an available 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which gets 175 horsepower, if you’re looking for more power. Plus – the average fuel economy for the 2016 Tucson is 29 mpg.

As for the design, the new Tucson has a re-imagined hexagon of a grille, which is rounder and wider than previously, adding a sleek but familiar vibe to the popular model. The vehicle is larger overall, providing more space inside.
