There are few cars that can make a significant enough impression on the car industry like the 2015 Hyundai Genesis has. Since the svelte sedan first entered the market, it has been raking in the awards, bulking up its trophy shelf with accolades such as Luxury Car of the Year and Esquire’s Sedan of the Year. Now, the Genesis has added yet another shiny trophy to its list after receiving Kiplinger’s 2015 Best Value Award for the Best New/Redesigned Car in the “$50,000 or Over” category.
“With the 2015 Hyundai Genesis named to Kiplinger’s Top Picks, it shows that this model continues to exceed customer and media expectations for its confident handling, top safety ratings, design, and value,” said Scott Margason, director of product planning for Hyundai Motor America.
The 2015 Genesis reflects a new design that is the epitome of sophistication. Both inside and out, the sedan offers a myriad of premium features and superb vehicle dynamics. Advanced safety features, such as Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, and Blind Spot Detection help keep consumers safe, while the two power engine options makes driving fun again.

Last week, Hyundai premiered their all-new Blue Link app at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas – a program, available for smart watches, that allows you to unlock your car from afar, as well as harboring other functions.
Turns out that we weren’t the only ones impressed by Blue Link; in fact, TechRadar, one of the largest tech-review websites on the Internet, named Blue Link the Best Car Tech of CES 2015. You can check out the full list of TechRadar’s picks here.
Barry Ratzlaff, an executive at Hyundai Motor America, pointed out the importance of this title in a recent statement, saying, “The Best Car Tech award from TechRadar is a testament that Hyundai Blue Link continues to evolve to meet the needs of today’s connected car owner.”

Who knew that your wrist watch was just raw and untapped digital real estate? Your timepiece was just sitting there, only telling the time. In our tech-savvy world, it’s hard to imagine such simplicity.
Now, your watch tells time and locates your car and flashes your car’s lights and starts your car and unlocks your door. If your car is a Hyundai, that is.
It’s called Blue Link, and it’s the latest innovation from Hyundai. Tech Times explains that, to use Blue Link, “users can simply tap the icons on the watch to choose which task they want the app to carry out.” Users can also use voice commands to execute various functions.
This app will clearly appeal to different people for different reasons. Safety fanatics will love how they can lock and unlock the doors remotely. For those who run cold, remote start will allow them to heat their cars up without braving the weather. If you’re unfortunate enough to forget where you park your car every time, the new Hyundai smart phone app will help prevent you from wandering around parking lots like a zombie.
