As the electric vehicle (EV) market gets more and more competitive, it seems as if every automaker is contributing its own EVs, which use only electricity as fuel. This is good news for customers, who save money and have a chance to lower their carbon footprint.
The latest auto company in the game is rumored to be Hyundai, who is said to be working on an all-electric vehicle commonly called the “Prius Fighter,” to be released sometime before the end of 2016.
Right now, Hyundai’s line-up includes the a plug-in hybrid version of the Hyundai Sonata, which has an electric-only range of 24 miles, so jumping to an all-electric vehicle seems like the right choice for Hyundai.
If the Prius Fighter is really scheduled to be released before 2016 is up, hopefully more information about the innovative vehicle will be revealed soon.

You’ve heard of Hyundai’s Sonata and perhaps even have one sitting in your driveway, but have you paid much attention to the sedan’s hybrid version? The 2015 Sonata Hybrid was recently named one of Kelley Blue Book’s “10 Most Fuel-Efficient Cars Under $25,000”, a value worth exploring.
The Sonata Hybrid boasts 40 miles per gallon on the highway. It optimizes the use of power between the electric motor and gasoline engine and is able to speed up to 74 mph in its pure electric drive.
In addition, the sedan offers a Hybrid Lifetime Battery Warranty, an exclusive feature not offered by any other automaker in the industry, and impressive overall value.
“The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid offers all the upscale feel and luxury features of the conventionally powered Sonata, but with the added benefits of a transparent hybrid drive system that delivers exceptional fuel economy,” said Jack R. Nerad, KBB.com executive editorial director. “The fact that the model also offers an exceptionally long warranty is the cherry atop the sundae.”
